International Business Development Manager

Position Summary

The International Business Development Manager will be responsible for expanding the company’s market presence and driving growth in international markets. This role requires a strategic and results-driven professional with a deep understanding of the fintech industry and a proven track record in business development.

Key Responsibilities

- Market Expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities in international markets to drive company growth and market share.

- Strategic Partnerships: Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, technology partners, and regulatory bodies.

- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in target markets.

- Business Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies and plans to achieve company objectives.

- Sales Growth: Drive sales growth through proactive client acquisition, relationship management, and strategic account management.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, legal, and compliance teams to ensure successful market entry and expansion initiatives.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all business development activities comply with local and international regulations and industry standards.

- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business development initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.

- Reporting: Provide regular reports and insights to the executive team on business development activities, market conditions, and strategic recommendations.

- Travel: Willingness to travel internationally as needed to meet clients, partners, and attend industry events.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, with at least 5 years in the fintech industry.

- Proven track record of successfully expanding business in international markets.

- Strong understanding of fintech products, services, and market dynamics.

- Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong negotiation and deal-closing abilities.

- Proficiency in relevant software and technology.

- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
