The Creative Director will be responsible for overseeing the creative vision and direction of all our publications. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the publishing industry and a passion for creating compelling content that resonates with our audience.
- Creative Vision: Develop and implement the creative vision for the company’s publications, ensuring consistency and high-quality standards across all content.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of writers, editors, designers, and other creative professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Content Strategy: Oversee the development of content strategies that align with the company’s goals and target audience.
- Project Management: Manage the production process from concept to publication, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Market Trends: Stay informed about industry trends and market developments to ensure our publications remain relevant and competitive.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to content creation and distribution.
- Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of editorial and visual quality, ensuring all publications reflect the company’s brand and values.
- Innovation: Identify opportunities for creative innovation and continuous improvement in content and production processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a creative leadership role within the publishing industry.
- Proven track record of successfully leading creative projects from concept to completion.
- Strong editorial and visual design skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Deep understanding of publishing industry trends and market dynamics.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and technology.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Italian is highly desirable.
