General Manager

Position Summary

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the company, ensuring strategic goals are met, and maintaining the highest standards of service. The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of the tourism industry and a proven track record of driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve company objectives.

- Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.

- Financial Management: Manage budgets, financial reports, and financial performance to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.

- Customer Experience: Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and service excellence.

- Marketing and Sales: Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

- Partnership Development: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and industry partners.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with local and international regulations and industry standards.

- Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of business initiatives.

- Innovation and Improvement: Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in services and processes.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the tourism or hospitality industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.

- Proven track record of successfully managing a tourism or hospitality business.

- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

- Deep understanding of the tourism industry and market trends.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in relevant software and technology.

- Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is highly desirable.
