We are seeking a skilled and experienced Scrum Master to join our team. The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile methodologies and ensure that our product development teams adhere to Scrum practices. This role involves guiding and coaching the team to effectively deliver high-quality mobile payment applications.
- Facilitation: Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Coaching: Coach team members on Agile principles and practices, ensuring they understand and adhere to Scrum processes.
- Impediment Removal: Identify and remove impediments that may hinder the team’s progress, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment where team members can openly discuss issues and work together to find solutions.
- Progress Tracking: Monitor and report on the team’s progress, utilizing Agile metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging the team to experiment with new approaches and practices.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on the team’s progress and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Team Support: Support the Product Owner in maintaining the product backlog and prioritizing work based on business value.
- Agile Advocacy: Advocate for Agile principles and practices within the organization, driving the adoption of Agile methodologies across teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role.
- Certification: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile certification.
- Agile Expertise: Deep understanding of Agile principles and practices, with hands-on experience implementing Scrum.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions and resolve conflicts.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of mobile application development and payment systems is a plus.
- Tool Proficiency: Proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Experience working in the payment systems industry.
- Advanced Agile certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Professional, Agile Certified Practitioner).
- Knowledge of additional Agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, Lean).
