Position Summary

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and vision to the company, driving growth and profitability, and ensuring the company’s long-term success in the competitive e-commerce landscape. The CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors and lead the executive team to achieve the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the company’s vision, mission, and overall strategy to drive business growth and market leadership.

- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and high performance across all departments.

- Financial Oversight: Manage the company’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring profitability and sustainability.

- Market Expansion: Identify and explore new market opportunities, partnerships, and business ventures to expand the company’s reach and revenue streams.

- Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, leveraging technology to enhance the customer experience and streamline operations.

- Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, investors, and the Board of Directors.

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the executive team, promoting a positive and inclusive corporate culture.

- Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and implement robust corporate governance practices.

- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the company’s long-term stability and success.

Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

- Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a senior executive role, preferably within the e-commerce or retail industry.

- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and achieving financial targets.

- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

- Strategic Thinking: Excellent strategic planning and execution capabilities, with a focus on long-term goals and market trends.

- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

- Financial Acumen: Strong financial management skills, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

- Innovation and Technology: Knowledge of the latest e-commerce technologies, trends, and best practices.

- Cultural Awareness: Understanding of the Middle Eastern market and business environment, with the ability to navigate cultural nuances.

- Experience working in the Middle East region.

- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) from a reputed institution.

- Experience with digital transformation and leveraging data analytics for business growth.
