The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) will be responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the company, specifically in the areas of talent management, organizational development, performance management, training and development, and compensation. The CHRO will provide strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the executive management team, shareholders, and the board of directors.
- Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
- Talent Management: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, talent development, and succession planning to ensure the company attracts, retains, and develops top talent.
- Performance Management: Implement and manage performance appraisal systems that drive high performance.
- Compensation and Benefits: Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.
- Employee Relations: Foster a positive workplace culture, addressing employee concerns and promoting a supportive work environment.
- Training and Development: Oversee the development and implementation of training programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR policies and practices.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Promote and support diversity and inclusion initiatives to ensure a fair and equitable workplace.
- HR Analytics: Utilize HR data and analytics to inform decision-making and improve HR processes.
- Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations.
- Executive Collaboration: Work closely with the executive team to align HR strategies with business goals and provide HR insights and solutions.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse HR team.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- HR Expertise: Deep knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Change Management: Experience leading and managing organizational change initiatives.
- Experience in the manufacturing or electronics industry.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR).
- Multilingual abilities, particularly in German and English.
- Experience with HR information systems (HRIS) and HR analytics tools.
